New Railway Schedule: Java

State railway company PT KAI will introduce new schedules for Java starting Wednesday in response to complaints about delays. Sudarmo Ramadhan, PT KAI’s director of operations, said in Bandung on Monday the new schedules would only be for two economy-class trains and seven freight trains.

In an effort to boost tourism next year, when is set to be declared “Visit Indonesia Year“, the government should consider establishing a travel-pass system for overseas visitors, Indonesia’s Tourism Council says.
