Zipping around in Jakarta: West Java

Sometimes as a visitor it is a nightmare to get around the massive city, but, take heart. Starting next month, you will be able to hop on to a sleek Piaggio scooter equipped with GPS systems and wireless communication that will weave their way through the city’s continual congested roads. The fleet of bright yellow Piaggio scooters comes equipped with devices to give directions, professional drivers who speak English, high quality helmets, hair caps, protective jacket and, even a special sheet to protect the modesty of women passengers wearing short skirts. This has to be the way to get around and quite a brilliant concept.
