Cubudak Island - How to Get There

Paradiso Village is situated in Cubadak, 40 kilometers from Padang and five miles from Carocok Village. Padang, the capital of West Sumatra, has an international airport that offers daily flights from Jakarta, four a week from Kuala Lumpur and two a week from Singapore.

Companies that offer direct connections to Padang from Europe include: Garuda Indonesia/Lufthansa via Frankfurt (Amsterdam) and Jakarta; Singapore Airlines, via Zurich (Paris, Frankfurt, Rome) or Singapore through sister company Silk Air; Malaysian Airlines, via Rome (Vienna, Munich), Kuala Lumpur/Singapore or Jakarta to Padang.

The transfer from the airport to the city center takes 20 minutes.

The island can be reached by using the dedicated boat from the Village directly from Padang port in 1 hour 15 minutes or by car transfer (1.5 hours) to Simpang Tiga Pantai Carocok, and from there by boat to Cubadak in 10 minutes.
