Low-cost airline AirAsia will soon provide its customers travel insurance following its agreement with insurance firm PT Asuransi AIU Indonesia. “AirAsia GoInsure Travel Protection” was designed to meet the need and budget of passengers. It is affordable, easy to buy and provides excellent value.
While making their online bookings, Indonesia AirAsia passengers need only select an option to add AirAsia GoInsure to their itineraries.
Insurance premiums start at Rp 15,000 (US$1.60) for a one-way domestic trip and rise to Rp 49,000 for an international round trip lasting up to 30 days.
Indonesia AirAsia president director Sendjaja Widjaja and PT Asuransi AIU president director Michael Blakeway launched the service Thursday.
