Exploring Bali

There are a lot of stunning places in Bali and you’ll need years to explore them all, but some of them should never be missed when you plan a vacation here.

Of course, you need to start the planning with the flights to Bali . Do your research in advance. Although the peak travel season is from July to August, if you want to save some money book your vacation in April or May. The weather is still nice but there aren’t that many tourists and the prices are lower.

Once you figured out the flight, look for one of the Bali resorts which won’t break your budget. A room in a budget resort starts at $60 per night for 2 persons (includes breakfast), while a superior bungalow can start at $105 per night (room only).

And now it’s time to take a look at the things you shouldn’t miss in Bali. Vihara Amurya Bhumi is a secluded Chinese temple which can be visited for free. The twin lakes of Danau Tamblingan and Danau Buyan offer superb views and the opportunity to just take a break and relax.

Don’t miss Pura Luhur Batukau, considered the most beautiful temple on the island. It is located at the base of the mountain and offers stunning views of the area. The monastery of Brama Vihara Arama is the most important Buddhist monastery in Bali, complete with golden Buddha statues.

If you have a chance, plan to explore the east coast of Bali, which is the most panoramic part of the island. You can find good hotels here and the snorkeling is amazing.
