Craft Design in Bali

cuiz.jpg Handicrafts in Bali are plentiful but to find that special piece is sometimes extremely hard. There are numerous designs of batik, nick-knacks, tourism objects and furniture and most are basically the same.

This is why it’s always refreshing to find a designer/artist who, in my opinion, is in a league of his own. Stanley Ruiz is that person and as he writes, most of the products that he design are handcrafted, to be marketed mostly in the United States and Europe.

He deals with different product lines like kitchen and bathroom accessories, garden furniture, decorative items, home office accessories, mirrors and frames, window accents, etc…anything you can find in the home: indoors or out. The products are made using any or a combination of the following materials: metal, wood, ceramics (earthenware), glass, natural fibres.
